Our owner, Kelli, grew up in Brentwood, so she's a “local”. A mother to 5 daughters and a grandmother to three, she loves working in her hometown community. While she was working full-time at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, she decided to pursue a hobby that is now a thriving business – On Board Nashville. Her love for charcuterie boards began when her girls were young. Before heading off on their family beach trips, Kelli would stock up on specialty cheeses and crackers. They would have a “cheese board on the beach” for dinner one night. A yearly tradition that was fun for her family, a memory.

Over time, she began constructing charcuterie boards for family and friends. That hobby slowly transitioned into larger boards for businesses and events, and that is how “On Board Nashville” was born. She has found the charcuterie community to be fun and supportive, which really helped push her to start her business. On Board Nashville has been recognized in several local publications, was invited to showcase at the Nashville Home and Remodeling Expo, has catered events for local musicians/artists/athletes, BMI events and the TikTok headquarters in Nashville. Her biggest work thrill was being a part of the CMA awards where each artist had one of her boxes in front of them during the ceremony. Kelli is very grateful for the connections and friends she has made due to her work in the community. 

The design approach to her boards is edgy and asymmetrical, giving her boards character and visual appeal, while still maintaining exceptional flavors. Whenever possible, she prefers to use locally sourced ingredients, which is important to her and a way she likes to give back to her hometown. Her focus is grazing tables ranging from 3 feet to her largest to date being 22 feet. 

On Board Nashville has everything to offer – and can design traditional charcuterie, cheese, vegetables, fruit, nuts, jams and honey but can also accommodate fun items including candy, dessert or brunch. 

In her personal life, Kelli enjoys spending time with her large family, especially her grandchildren, and friends. She is always up to travel - which inspires her esthetic. She also enjoys time on the farm with her goats, donkeys, ducks, chickens and husband.
